Remember all the old lullabies
Just remember how calm they made you
Don’t forget to wish upon a star or two
You are hiding things better than they see
Wish on every birthday candle
Go for your dreams always
I know you feel alone
But pretty girl, you’re not as lonely as you seem
Strong woman, you’ll have this life down
All you need to do is believe
Yes, you cry yourself to sleep each night
But in due time those dream catchers will work
Head up, you beautiful woman
You may not have it all planned out
That’s okay, you’ll be okay
Even if that time is not today
I know it gets increasingly far away
But the wait will be worth it all in the end
Pick up your shoulders, hold your chin up
I know right now you aren’t all okay
But the longer you stay up, the sooner you’ll feel the best
